Dearest Sister,

The wheel of the year has turned once again, and we welcome you back to the summer solstice edition of Warrioress Whispers—our seasonal newsletter from the heart of the Amazonian Arts.

This Sabbath speaks of the light of consciousness, expansion, abundance and community. It is a time to celebrate the joy of this precious human existence and the blessings we have in our lives. Sometimes it can be extremely challenging to find something to celebrate if we find ourselves in a dark night of the soul. If this is you, simply see if you can focus on just one thing that is a blessing in your life, as there is cosmic support for us to expand that energy in our lives at this time. What is it that you are grateful for in this moment?

Our ancestors have been celebrating these solar transitions since time immemorial. Can you feel that lineage of light when you tune in to the solstice on the 22nd? The passage of the sun over the course of one year takes us through the 8 Sabbaths on the seasonal wheel. They were quintessential for survival – when to gather the harvest, when to plant what seeds. Failure to attend to these pivotal points in time was unthinkable because it would have endangered the entire tribe. While we have largely lost that connection collectively with a false sense of security that we can exist without it, the time returns in which nature connection is once again essential for our survival. Are you paying attention to the natural world?

Above Us & Around Us

We are entering the Capricorn (Summer) Solstice through an extraordinary convergence: the Sagittarius New Moon, the closest pass of the interstellar object 3I/Atlas, and the wider closing energies of 2025, a 9 year in numerology and the Year of the Snake. This creates an approximate three-day window that acts as a powerful choice point for both personal and collective timelines. As the Sun turns at the Solstice, the emphasis shifts from vision into embodiment, inviting us to consciously align with higher trajectories rather than unconsciously repeating old patterns. This is a moment of threshold, where what we choose to stand for begins to take structural form.

The New Moon in Sagittarius asks us to examine how we know what is true and which beliefs we are aligning with. It invites a deep reassessment of meaning, purpose, and direction, while 3I/Atlas acts as an energetic catalyst, accelerating the consequences of the choices we are making and amplifying what must now be acknowledged. For many, this is an intensely challenging period, as the closing of a 9 year stirs the densest emotional residues to the surface for release. Heavy or “sticky” emotions may arise not as a sign of failure, but as the final shedding before renewal — clearing space for new patterns we are here to birth for ourselves and for the Earth.

As we cross the Solstice and prepare for the rapid momentum of 2026 — the Year of the Fire Horse — integration becomes essential. If 2025 moved at a serpentine slither, what lies ahead gathers speed and force. The wisdom of this betwixt-and-between moment is to slow down deliberately: to create space for grounding, self-care, and deep listening. By tending to our inner compass now, we enter the next phase with clarity and embodied integrity, able to map the terrain ahead before the gallop toward the horizon begins.

The Wildling & The Warrior Queen

This solstice you find us steeped in Artisan medicine. The Artisan’s ruling planet is Venus and is symbolic of the Lover archetype. This planet pertains to the human urge for relationship – both inner to self and outer to other. She speaks to our desire for harmony, what we value, and aesthetic senses. Where she is placed in our natal chart can offer us insight into how we find pleasure and contentment, and how to rebalance our inner selves. It can also indicate the place where our unique resources lie, which we can draw upon to sustain ourselves and provide (material) security. Do you know which house and sign your own Venus sits in?

The Artisan’s polarity sister is the Banshee and She is in contact with the underbelly of life. Ruled by Pluto (also known as Hades), she is drawn without choice to the intense and powerful places in the underworld and often works in areas associated with death and trauma, taboos and the improper use of power. Her medicine is to transmute impurities from the depths which no longer serve on both a personal and collective level. In her power the Banshee can let go of her need to control, allowing others in and practicing trust; and the sensual Artisan can balance her possessiveness with play and pleasure. Do you feel more resonance with the Artisan or Banshee?

Our explorations this quarter delved deeply into the polarities of Death and Rebirth (Banshee) and Life and Creativity (Artisan). We rode the waves, revelled in the archetypal strengths we see within and dived deeply into the shadowlands, acknowledging the gifts that lie hidden behind our fears and shadows.

This a a journey of awakening together in truth and tenderness, developing unconditional love and conscious community. We are learning how to walk the Beauty Way.

Amazonian Arts Paperback Journals

The creation of the 13 Warrioress Journals has been a deeply devotional weaving, one born through the steady hands and open hearts of the Vision Mother and the Clan Mothers who walk this path together.

What first emerged as companion pieces to the online journeys soon revealed themselves as living texts in their own right - portals into the archetypal realms, shaped to meet each woman exactly where she stands.

What has been my experience of the Amazonian Arts?

I have walked with the Amazonian arts for most of 2025 For me it has been a walk of remembering, a descent into the feminine mysteries held in the body, in spirit, in my lineage and in the land. I have been calling in deeper presence, deeper connection and accountability and this is what I have found here.

In circle, I am safely held and deeply supported- guided to move beyond the surface self and into the quiet, potent layers beneath where grief, power, tenderness, and instinct live side by side. Through ritual, initiation, and shamanic work, I feel the feminine archetypes rise, not as ideas but as living forces, teaching me how to listen, how to trust, how to reclaim my strength and the inner wild without fear. I have been shown how to heal wounds I couldn’t name, to listen more closely to my inner wisdom, and to reclaim the wild, instinctual aspects of myself and the feminine that are so often suppressed, and have been very brutally silenced through my journey.

This work has been a healing of lineage and body, a returning of sovereignty and softness together, so that the divine feminine may be embodied - not just for me, but in service of all women remembering and reclaiming who they have always been. I hold deep gratitude for the women who walk beside me in this work - their presence, courage, and care make this remembering and reclamation possible.
